Birmingham Education Foundation (Ed) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Birmingham City high school intern to join our team as an Ed Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to engage with our community, support various initiatives, and contribute to the overall success of our non-profit organization. The intern will be an integral part of our team, gaining hands-on experience in community engagement and administrative support.

The Fund Development and operations manager will report directly to the Executive Director and support Ed’s efforts to meet its fundraising priorities. The DM will assist in enacting and improving the overall fundraising strategy, while also providing key support in ensuring timely communication, developing promotional materials, research and writing, event planning, preparing the Executive Director for meetings, and maintaining an up-to-date database of donors. On a two-person development team, the DM will be a key point of contact with Ed’s donors and will have the opportunity and autonomy to build and innovate around Ed’s entire fundraising operation.
