Kaye J. Jones has served in Higher Education recruitment over the last four years. She started her education career at Virginia College –Birmingham as an Enrollment Specialist (2013-2014). From there, she went on to Miles College as a Senior Admissions Counselor covering territories in Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA, and Memphis, TN (2014-2017). Kaye lives by her own motto “It’s Never Too Late, To Be Great” and knows her calling is to help motivate and empower people from all walks of life.

Kaye is a proud native of Birmingham, AL and Alum of Wenonah High School where she actively participated in the marching band and won the title of Miss Wenonah High. She then went on to complete her Bachelors Degree in Mass Media Studies from Talladega College where she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and also won the title of Miss Talladega College.  Kaye’s most recent accomplishment was receiving her Master’s Degree in Communication Management from The University of Alabama at Birmingham (December 2018).

To say she is excited about joining the Ed team is an understatement. Kaye is thrilled to serve in the administrative role as the Program Team Assistant where she plans to wear all hats needed to help create College, Career and Life Readiness for Birmingham City Schools Students.
