Jerry L. Kelly

Jerry L. Kelly, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, is a 1991 graduate of Mississippi State University where he received a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering.

Kelly is the president and CEO of Kelly Road Builders and Kelly Natural Gas Pipeline Company, where he has worked since 2006. Under Kelly’s leadership, Kelly Road Builders expanded the business throughout Alabama, Georgia, and Louisiana.

In 2015, Kelly founded Kelly Natural Gas Pipeline, a company heavily involved in performing pipeline distribution system integrity work for two of the country's largest Natural Gas Distribution companies. Kelly Natural Gas Company currently performs work in Mississippi and Alabama. As CEO, he oversees a team of project managers, finance, business development, and human resources for both companies. 

Before joining the Kelly team, he worked for Eli Lilly as a sales manager in Birmingham, and then a training and development manager for the company in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also worked with Occidental Chemical Company, based in Wilmington, N.C., for seven years as both a project engineer and a sales representative.

Kelly is on the Board of Directors for both the Birmingham Business Alliance and the Kiwanis Club of Birmingham. He is also a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. He was previously a member of the North Fulton Rotary Club. He has volunteered with Junior Achievement, United Way, and other civic organizations in the community.

A resident of Birmingham, Kelly has been married to his wife Renee for 26 years. The couple has three children, Jade, Kennedy, and Kendall. When not working, Kelly likes to spend time with his family watching movies and taking walks.
