Jamelle Prewitt

Lead Financial Analyst- AT&T | Member since 2022

Jamelle Prewitt is a product of the Birmingham City School System.  She attended and graduated from the following -Alberta Shields Elementary School; Carol W. Hayes High School.  During Jamelle’s high school years, she was active in the Concert and Marching Band. FBLA President and Student Government Association.

Jamelle is a Lead Financial Analyst at AT&T and has been employed with AT&T for over 30 years. Jamelle has continued her involvement in leadership as AT&T Pioneers (B’ham Metro Council) Vice President; Women of AT&T-National Scholarship Committee; AWF Mentoring Facilitator; Believes AT&T.

Outside of work, Jamelle is a member of Winewood Baptist Christian Fellowship Church.  She is a Spiritual Enrichment Teacher; Bible Drill Leader; Secretary.  

Her greatest accomplishment is loving and caring for her family.  Jamelle is married and has 2 sons.  Raising the boys is what pushed Jamelle into parental involvement while they attended school. Jamelle was active in PTA and went on field trips. She was asked to be a Substitute Teacher; Title One Leader.  As a grassroots initiative took off in Birmingham, curiosity bit, and before long Jamelle was active in “Yes We Can! The focus of Yes We Can, was to engage the community in Birmingham City Schools actively.  Fast forward, ED Foundation and Jamelle is still curious and involved.
