Douglas E. Coltharp has served as EVP & CFO of Encompass Health Corporation (NYSE: EHC) since May 2010. Prior to joining EHC, he served for 3 years as a partner at Arlington Capital Advisors and Arlington Investment Partners, LLC, a boutique investment banking and private equity firm. Mr. Coltharp also served 11 years as EVP & CFO for Saks, Inc. (NYSE: SKS), a Fortune 1000, multi-divisional national retailer. Mr. Coltharp began his career in 1987 at Bank of America and rose to become senior vice president and head of Southeast Corporate Banking. He is a graduate of Lehigh University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics and earned his master’s in business administration, with concentrations in finance and strategic planning, from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Coltharp has served on the Board of Directors of Under Armour, Inc. (NYSE: UA) since 2004 and is currently Chair of the Finance and Capital Planning Committee and Chair of the Audit Committee. He is also a member of the Advisory Boards of RFG Advisory, a privately held specialty finance company and of Thomas H. Beckbe & Company, LLC (“Tom Beckbe”), a privately held premium outdoor apparel and accessories company.

Mr. Coltharp is actively involved in a number of civic and philanthropic organizations including serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Birmingham Education Foundation, and as a member of the Board of Directors and on the Executive Committee of the United Way of Central Alabama. Mr. Coltharp will serve as the 2021 Chair of the United Way of Central Alabama (UWCA’s) Annual Campaign.
