Archie Stewart is on a mission to lead and encourage today’s youth through genuine service and impactful community. She transitioned into the AmeriCorps program after discovering her passion for non-profit organizations in the Birmingham area. She is a native of Opelika, Alabama and holds a B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Child Development from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Through years of leadership both inside and outside the classroom, Miss Stewart has been described as a dynamic and transformational leader and role model for her generation.
As a trailblazer and former pageant queen, Archie is heavily involved in the world of pageantry having held titles such as Miss Hoover USA 2015, Miss Black Alabama US Ambassador 2016, and most recently, the national title, Miss Black US Ambassador 2017. She currently serves as a coach and mentor to young women through pageantry and still judges pageants across the southeast.
Miss Stewart is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and through her membership with her sorority and ties with her pageant background, she formed the leadership and self-esteem development organization for young ladies ages 16-24 years old, CROWNed Life, a lifestyle blog turned into a movement and Virtual Assistance business. Through CROWNed Life, she has been a motivational and inspirational speaker at many events across the country.
Archie is a millennial role model, queen, entrepreneur, speaker, and girl boss, but she first identifies herself as a daughter of God. She has traveled the country empowering and encouraging girls and young women to discover their purpose and live unapologetically unashamed in their truth for over five years and she is excited to continue to serve in the Birmingham area.
