Douglas E. Coltharp has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of HealthSouth (NYSE: HLS) since May 2010. Prior to joining HealthSouth, he served as a partner at Arlington Capital Advisors (ACA) and Arlington Investment Partners, LLC (AIP), a boutique investment banking and private equity firm. Mr. Coltharp also served 11 years as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Saks Incorporated (NYSE: SKS), a Fortune 1000 national retailer. Mr. Coltharp began his career in 1987 at Nations Bank, N.A. (now part of Bank of America) and rose to become Senior Vice President and head of Southeast Corporate Banking. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lehigh University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics and earned his master’s in business administration with concentrations in finance and strategic planning from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Since 2004, Mr. Coltharp has served as a member of the board of directors of Under Armour, Inc. (NYSE: UA) and as a member of its audit committee. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Under Armour finance and capital planning committee. Mr. Coltharpโ€™s public company board experience also includes serving as a director and as chairman of the audit committee for Ares Capital Corporation (Nasdaq: ARCC), a specialty finance company, from 2004-2011. Mr. Coltharp currently serves on the advisory board for RFG Advisory, a hybrid RIA platform company. He has been a director of the United Way of Central Alabama (“UWCA”) since 2011 and currently serves on the boardโ€™s executive committee. Mr. Coltharp served as the Pacesetter Campaign Chair for the 2015 UWCA campaign. He resides in Mountain Brook, AL with his wife (Catherine), and children โ€“ Ted (12) and Ann Bishop (6).
