Chad Webb joined Regions in 2011 and currently serves as Chief Enterprise Risk Management Officer. Regions is a regional bank that operates throughout the South, Midwest and Texas and is headquartered in Birmingham, Ala.
Webb is responsible for the Enterprise Risk Management process, coordinating Risk Management participation in the capital and strategic planning processes, evaluating new products and services, emerging risks, and overseeing Board and committee reporting.
Additionally, Webb is responsible for the Operational Risk Management process, Corporate Risk Governance, Regulatory Operations, Enterprise & Strategic Risk Management, Market & Liquidity Risk Management, Model Risk Management and Model Validation, Sarbanes-Oxley program, RCSA process and the Operational Loss Forecasting group.
Webb is a member of Regions’ Senior Leadership group and participates as a member of several significant management committees. He serves as Chairman of key executive committees: New Initiatives Risk Assessment Committee and the Operational Risk Committee.
Prior to joining Regions, Webb worked in KPMG LLP’s Financial Services practice and served a broad range of financial services organizations, with particular focus on large regional banking and financial institutions, real estate companies and other large publicly traded organizations.
Webb earned bachelor and master’s degrees in Accountancy from the University of Mississippi. Webb is also a Certified Public Accountant and serves on the Advisory Council for the University of Mississippi’s Patterson School of Accountancy. He also serves on the Enterprise Risk Management Council of the Risk Management Association’s Board and is a member of the McWane Science Center Board of Trustees.
