Andy Payant was appointed as the executive vice president-finance for Amerex Corporation in 2018.

Payant had served as Vice President and International Controller of McWane Inc. since 2012. Previously, he served as McWane’s Vice President and Controller from 1998 until 2012.  Prior to joining McWane, he held management positions at Compass Bank and Molton, Allen & Williams and also worked as an auditor for Coopers & Lybrand.

Payant earned his BS from the University of Alabama in 1986 and his CPA certificate in 1989.  Mr. Payant also currently serves on the board of Junior Achievement of Alabama.
